I am currently a Research and IT Support Specialist at Utrecht University within the Faculty of Social Sciences, where I leverage my diverse expertise to support academic research and streamline technological operations.

With a multidisciplinary background, I hold a degree in Industrial Design from Hogeschool Rotterdam and a specialization in Anthropology from Vrije Universiteit. My professional experience spans across roles in Sales & Merchandising at Apple, giving me a unique perspective on how technology and human behavior intersect. Over time, my passion for IT has deepened, leading me to specialize in IT automation and its integration into business and academic processes.

At Utrecht University, I have led several important initiatives, including the development of a website that streamlines IT service requests for researchers and the management of faculty lab computers. These projects demonstrate my dedication to leveraging technology to improve research workflows and foster academic innovation—for example, through the use of 3D printing for experimental setups or producing informative videos.

Outside of work, I pursue my creative passions. I enjoy producing travel videos, often combining my love for motorcycles with storytelling. Additionally, I create short educational videos as part of my role, which aligns with my interest in digital media production. You can explore some of my personal projects on this website.
